What is radiation?

Radiation is nothing but emission and propagation of energy. Lots of things are there around us that emit radiation. These radiations are changing even our genetic sequence, a serious harm to us. This radiation are causing cancer, tumor etc.

Sources of radiation:

1.The sun

The sun emits electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic waves are like infra red to ultra violet rays. The sun emits light as well. So to get rid of the harms from ultraviolet ray we use sun screen that resist penetration of ultraviolet ray into our skin

2.Microwave oven

Microwave oven uses electromagnetic waves that vibrates the molecules of water making it hot. We must not expose ourselves to such kind of radiation waves.

3.Welding machine

Specially school goings kids keep gazing and enjoying the sparks of welding. But it emits ultraviolet rays. So let them not to stay exposed to sparks light coming from welding.

4.TV And Radio

Old color tv which would once use gas picture tube would emit harmful ultraviolet ray. Electromagnetic wave that was sent from tv station is received by radio.

5. Mobile phone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hotspot

All these technologies use electromagnetic waves that is injurious for our health.
